DAF Club Netherlands

The DAF-Club Netherlands was founded in 1980 and has grown to about 2000 members with a total of 2560 cars, of which the oldest dates from 1959! The most important thing for this club is to maintain all vehicles with a Variomatic drive. These are all DAF passenger cars, but also the DAF Pony, DAF Kalmar and several Volvo models. DAF is the only brand that has brought passenger cars onto the market that have been conceived, designed and mass-produced in the Netherlands – a piece of Dutch pride. Even though everyone knows the saying that a DAF goes ‘backwards as fast as it goes forwards’, it remains Dutch heritage of which we may be proud and glad that we can still enjoy it! The DAF club will also be doing a parade through Zandvoort on 16 July during the Historic Grand Prix with about 30 cars that show the whole history of the DAF brand.
