Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort partners with Gassan and official timekeeper Tudor

Series winners at the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort will be rewarded with a specially developed Tudor Heritage Chrono Winners Edition. During the event, Gassan Diamonds and Tudor will also auction off an exclusive chronograph. All proceeds will go to the Dutch ALS foundation. The Historic Grand Prix takes place at Circuit Park Zandvoort from 1 – 3 September.

Gassan Diamonds and Tudor are not only official partners of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort, Tudor is also the ‘official timekeeper’ of the event. In joining forces to support this event for the second year in a row, both partners keep a great annual tradition alive. A symbol of this great association, the Tudor Heritage Chrono Winners Edition, specially developed in honour of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort, is fitted with a special engraving and is numbered.

This chronograph will not only adorn the wrists of series winners as Gassan Diamonds and Tudor will present one further example to a race celebrity having made a meaningful contribution to motorsports. In previous editions former Formula 1 driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jan Lammers and Masters Historic Racing founder Ron Mayden were presented with a Tudor chronograph.

Auction

On Friday 1st at 6 pm, the Paddock Club will be the host of the traditional pre-race auction. At this occasion, another Tudor Heritage Chrono Winners Edition will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated to the ALS foundation which brings support research to ALS, a disease that causes the death of neurons which control voluntary muscles. Racing driver Meindert van Buuren is the ambassador of the foundation.
